Can't Reinstall Release version of the compact framework

I am using the evaluation version of CE.NET 4.1.

I had also installed the release version of the Compact
Framework.

I uninstalled the CE.NET 4.1, and then realized I needed
it again and reinstalled it. I also installed all the
QFEs. When I tried to reinstall the release Compact
Framework, I get a message that it is already installed
and the installation aborted.

However, within Platform Builder I have access only to the
Beta Version of the compact framework which means I cannot
generate a release O/S image for my device.

There is no uninstall of the compact framework in the
control panel or anywhere else I have been able to find.

How can I get the release compact framework reinstalled
into Platform Builder?

Hi Duncan,

We should be able to uninstall from the %windir%\installer folder.

Start > Run and type Installer and then click Ok
Select View > Details
Right click on the column header Date Modified
Select Comments
Locate the msi file for the .Net Compact Framework
Right click on the file and select uninstall

Hope that helps.
