Purchase Order Form

Hello,

I have two tables. pomain and posub

pomain: ponumber,podate,issuedby
posub: posubid,ponumber,itemcode,qty,price

I am new to dotnet. How can i add data to these two tables. 1 record in
pomain and many records on posub(reference). The user may add to the same po
after some time(means not at a time).

Can any one give some idea how to accomplish this?

In classic asp, i used to do as

page1.asp: Asking the user to add New PO or add to existing PO?
depending on that selection, i submit the form to corr page.

Page2.asp: page to store maintable details. then redirect to page3.asp

page3.asp: form to enter details of PO and submit to page4.asp
page4.asp: insert to podetails. And ask to continue ADD?
If YES redirect to page3.asp with the querystring of ponumber.

here, in dot net, i am not sure how to follow this in an easier way. Can
anyone give an idea?

thanx in advance
