Description: Damon will present the .NET compact Framework version 2.0
using Visual Studio 2005. The focus of the presentation will be how to
get started with Smart Device projects in Visual Studio 2005, common
mobile pitfalls, mobile data synchronization and improvements in this
new version of the compact framework. The presentation will include a
lot of code and two case studies of large scale mobile applications
Damon has created.

Bio: Damon Payne is the Principal Architect for SafeNet Consulting
Inc's Milwaukee branch. He has over 7 years of experience working

For the next two meetings, we will be running a special promotion -
bring a buddy to our meeting and you both get a book! YOU MUST
PRE-REGISTER YOUR BUDDY

Get a buddy who has not been to one of our meetings to register, and
when you both show you up you'll each receive a book at the end of the
meeting. Books will only be given out while supplies last, and priority
will be given to new members based on the date of their registration.
That means, the oldest registration will have the first chance to pick
and the buddy who brought them, the second. Microsoft has also offered
to up the ante for regional user groups who promote the "Bring a Buddy"
program. Anyone who brings a newly registered member, will get a chance
for BOTH themselves and their friend to win an XBOX 360 in a drawing
later this spring.
I hope to see you all there
