Invoking long running web request asynchronously.

Hi all,

I am having problem in one web method which i am running asynchronously

I set oneway attribute in web method.

What i want is once client called this web method this should start
asynchronously.

My client is windows application means after calling web method
asynchronously if client has closed application still my web method
needs to be running in background.

As my web method is long running i don't want it to depend on client
once client as initiated it.

So i called up that web method asynchronously.

As i read some where that once client send web request client has no
connection with web service. web service process that web request and
not depend on who has called up that serivice.

If i am wrong in logic please correct me.

My client application and web services was working properly.

Suddenly if found one problem, that after client has called web request
after some time processing of that long running job suddenly stopped.

I am not getting why this is happening.

And main problem is in web service itself i have catched exception and
written that in log file.

But in above case exception is also not raised.

Once i got error that is thread was aborted. But later on when i
retried same scenario no exception was raised still my long running
process stopped suddenly.

Can some one shed some light on it.

Any help will be truely appreciated.

Please help me asap as it is very very important for me

Thanks in adavance.
