XSD Based DTOs or Types

We are using XMLObjectGen on our webservices side to compile the XSD based
schema types (DTOs) and are using these successfully on the webservices
side. We are able to add web references to these webservices in the the
ASP.NET Front end and the XSD compiler is generating the Proxies and the
associated types. The problem I am having is that if there are any Value
Types (Int, Decimal, Boolean) in the XMLObjectGen generated class, their
values are lost as they cross from the ASP.NET frontend to the Web services
layer. However reference types are working fine. Is there something I am
missing? For now I am using String types for everything but I think that
defeats the purpose of the XSD types. Thanks in advance.

I am not quite sure on this .. but I do a similar process. I use this tool
http://www.thinktecture.com/Resource...t/default.html
and have not had issues (it may actually make your development process
easier as well).

Cheers,
