parmameter passing on URL for Windows 2003 server and XP client

Anyone know why when "/" is hardcoded into asp.net
parameter URL the XP client web converts to a "\"

Works fine on Windows 2000 server and XP client

Works fine on Windows 2003 server and Win 9X client
