VS.NET 2003 deleting my custom events

I am trying to expose an event from a user control and use that event in the
parent form. I get it working and it will work and then VS.NET will erase
this code on InitializeComponent()
this.treeAD.NodeSelected += new
WindowsUserControls.TreeviewAD.NodeEventHandler(th is.treeAD_NodeSelected);

So I'll run my form and it will work and everything is fine then the next
time I run it the event isn't responded because this line of code keeps
getting erased. Does anybody know why this is happening and from keep it
from happening? Any help would be appreciated.
