Hello
I have posted this here once before to no avail so I thought I might try again
I love the snippets feature and use it constantly. However when I recently
downloaded and ran the C# snippets .vsi, the IDE Began to display a "Multiple
Snippets" drop down. This obviously is a list of paths that have been
registered for each snippet.
What's worse is that in a vain attempt to remedy the situation I went into the
various registry settings having to do with the snippets manager and fooled
around a bit and probably made things much worse. I looked here and tried the
solution as well but with no luck

I only have one location where my snippets are stored and only one shortcut for
each snippet. Choosing the wrong item from the drop down either does nothing or
displays a message that the file cannot be found.
As snippets are meant to increase productivity, playing this little guessing
game just takes up too much time so I just type the code.
What I need is a complete map of all the registry keys that need to be reset in
order to restore my installation.
I have no problem in deinstalling Visual Studio and reinstalling it, but I'm
afraid that this may not repair the settings
TIA
