Web service not responding for web request.

Hi all,

I am having web service with 2 methods out of which on web method is
time consuming.

So what i am doing is calling time consuming web request asynchronously
and other web method sychronously.

What is happening is if i called time consuming web method
asynchronously twice and then another web method synchroously my
application is hanging.

If i set timeout for second web method then it is throwing timeout
error after completion of timeout period. But after that if i retry to
call second web method synchronously it is working properly.

I am not getting why this is happening.
From above before i concluded that if i am calling invoking one

webmethod asynchronously twice and then calling another method
synchronously it is hanging my app.

Can some one tell me why this strange behaviour is happening on my
client application.

Any help will be truely appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
