new line replacement in xsl:attribute value with fx2.0

P: n/a
Hi,
I have the following xsl:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
<xsl:output method="html"/>
<xsl:template match="/">
<a>
<xsl:attribute name="href">
pippo
</xsl:attribute>
</a>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>

(in the following test I put some spaces to in "& # XA" to eliminate html
escaping problems)

I get
<a href="& # XA
pippo
& # XA"></a>

Is there a way to strip the new line escape (& # XA;) from the output?
In msxml4 this xsl doesn't return those escapes.

Thanks in advance for any help

ps
sorry for the cross post from microsoft.public.xsl but I didn't realize it
wasn't managed

Hi,

Could you provide us with an .xml file and your code so that we can make a
repro?
