Newb Help

*Hey there everyone, new to this forum, so I hope I put this in the
right spot. So on to the problem

I am using Visual Studio 2005 on an XP machine, and I am making just
a simple 2d racing game using
SDL.(SDL=http://www.libsdl.org/index.php)

I build and run my program fine, and then I take the exe, and the
sounds/images, and put them in a different directory on my computer,
run the .exe, and everything works fine.

If I take that same folder, and transfer it to a different computer,
I get an "Application failed to start, please try reinstalling the
application" error. I took all the appropriate Dll's and placed them
in the windows/system32 folder as well, and still I get this error.
Does anyone know what the problem is? *

Ps. I take the .exe and .pdb file from the release folder that VS
creates. Those are the only two files it gives me.

My guess is that you are heaving problems with the CRT.

It is very likely that your project depends on the C-Runtime. The new
C-Runtime is deployed as an unmanaged assembly in %windir%\WinSxS. To deploy
your app in the right way, you should create a Setup and Deployment project.
