Hello!
We're currently looking at migrating some of our code to .NET. Our old
application written in VB6 has a DLL function that passes an Array of
Variants to another function. We're planning to put a Web Service as a
bridge to unglue the 3-tier architecture ...
so old:
VB6 -> Array(variants) -> VB6
and new:
VB6 -> Array(variants) -> WebService(.Net) -> Array(variants) -> VB6
all that the web service needs to do is do a pass through of the array.
no other functionality. i have learned, that we can define a Object
Type in .NET that should accept the Array of variants, but we get an
error "bad variable type". We pass dates, guids, NULLs, numbers and
strings with the Array.
Any clue what is wrong here?
