.net won't execute sql command

Neo
is there any reason why a sql command will execute in sql server and not in
Vb.Net?
It takes about 1.5 minutes to execute.. Would the timeout have anything to
do with it? If so how do I increase it?

1) To call asynchronously
2) analyze SQL exec plan to improve performance

Neo,

Yes have a look at the XXXconnection.timeout, don't set it to infinity,
however.

You know that a nice newsgroup for this kind of questions is

microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.adonet

I hope this helps,
