Creating an XML document from a schema and data file

Hi,
Given a CSV or Excel document containing XML schema field names and
test data, how can we generate an XML file populated with the test
data, conforming to an XML schema? My guess is that there needs to be a
mapping between the test data file schema field names and the schema
(XSD file) for it to be possible to generate the XML file?

How complex a process is this or can I use an off the shelf tool for
this? Any pointers? Thanks in advance.
