Multiple Snippets in IDE after installing C# snippets .vsi

I installed the C# snippets that were recently made available by
Microsoft. Since then when I right-click and choose either Insert
Snippet or Surround With... or press ctrl space, choose a snippet and
press tab tab I get Multiple Snippets: <choices>

I have all my snippets in the default location and nowhere else. The
IDE must be reading old values from somewhere. I can't get rid of them.
I have tried the registry entries in HKCU and HKLM under

Software | Microsoft | VisualStudio | 8.0 | Language | Code Expansions
| Visual C# | Paths

to no avail

I have fooled with Snippets Manager using remove, add, import and not
been able to get rid of them.

Has anyone else had this problem? I would really just like to reset to
the default values and try again.

TIA
