DEVENV.EXE on .NET 2003 locks up 50% of time

I have .NET 2003 installed on my Windows XP PC and about 50% of the
time, the PC locks up when a Project is tried to be opened. I see that
the DEVENV.EXE reaches the mid to high 60,000 KB point and the
ASPNET_WP.EXE starts to build and then the PC completely locks up.

I do have .NET 2002 installed as well, but in a completely different
directory and have been told that this is not it as the can work side
by side ?!

Any sugguestions ?!?!
