Using irda

P: n/a
If you download the code for MS Press Microsoft .NET
Compact Framework by Wigley and Wheelwright in Chapter 11
there's code to handle this. If you haven't bought the
book----TRUST ME, BUY IT. In particular the irDAListener
class should do what you need. I can send you some of
the code we used to accomplish this, but it's essentially
what I learned in the book with some minor modifications.

I'll be glad to forward you what I've done--however, if
you are programming in the Compact Framework and haven't
done so, get this book, it's a life saver.

Good Luck

Hi,

I want to create an irDA server application on the pc (using the standard..net framework) to communicate with a pocket PC application (created withthe compact framework). Whilst the compact framework has a multitude ofIrDA related classes, I can't find anything or any documentation on how tocreate an irda server on the standard framework.
I started to sub-class the EndPoint class to make my own IrDA endpoint, butI think I'm a little out of my depth. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
