Active Directory access very slow

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing some problems with System.DirectoryServices on a
server running Windows 2003 Server (SP1).

I've made a really simple console program using .net 2.0 : it connects
to our Active Directory, made some queries, and disconnects.

On my up-to-date Win XP Pro box, the average time used to do these
queries is under one second ; on the Windows 2003 server, the same
program takes between 6 and 12 seconds !

The server has no other activities at the moment, so it has a very
small charge. What could be the problem ?

Thanks in advance,

Aurélien
