Synconise Cookies for Forms Login

I have 2 web sites on different domians bioth using Forms authentication , I
have set the <Machine Key settings in the web config of both apps to use the
same encryption keys etc.

This should allow me to login in to the first app and without having to
login again link to the 2nd app. But it dos not work. It is always asking
to login again.

I guess this is because they are using different domain names?

Anybody know how to configure these 2 apps to allow you to login once into
either app and access the other?
