VS 2005 producing incorrect HTML source?

I added an ASP.NET 2.0 button to an ASP.NET panel within an HTML DIV and it
generated all types of errors and dumped me into "source" view -- after
looking at the MESS (still can't believe VS 2005 can't format the HTML
source better) of HTML code VS 2005 creates, I noticed it did not produce
the closing </asp:button> syntax.

Anyone else have this problem?

I've reported this as a bug to MS.
