Want to Know the status of a WebService

Hi all,
I have a situation where i have to know the status of a web service(whether
it is runing or not), from another Web Service.How i can know it.Please help
me.

Hello sri,

search in MSDN about Microsoft Enterprise Instrumentation Framework
and look if u could use it for your needs
