Java Web Service reachable by .NET clients.

P: n/a
I'm trying to write a web service in Java (with Axis) that needs to be
able to be consumed by .NET clients. I've gone through all the
examples in the Axis documentation and still can't seem to get it to
work. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Hi Chris,

What, specifically, doesn't work? What error message do you see? How do
you recreate the error?

I'm not seeing any error messages yet. I'm calling the service from a
..NET client and it's just not returning anything (should be returning a
string).
The way I did it was, initally I developed the framework of the service
in .NET... took the WSDL and used WSDL2Java to create the skelton
files. I used the command line "WSDL2Java --server-side -skeleonDeploy
true ...". Then I edit the resulting .java files, compiled them, used
AdminClient to deploy with the deploy.wsdd. Then I created a simple
form application with .NET and created a web refernce pointing to the
service running under Axis to test it.
