Do I need AOP patern?

All,

I am not new to AOP, I have done it, but I want to create an attribute that
checks if the user can run the method on a class, for example, if I have :

void Foo(string itemID)
{
CheckSecRuleABC(itemID);

// etc
// etc
}

the could become

[CheckSecRuleABC]);
void Foo(string itemID)
{
CheckSecRuleABC(itemID);

// etc
// etc
}

my class would derive from ContextBoundObject and I would use an AOP pattern
to run the SEC check BEFORE

Is there a better way to-do this?
