WebService Discovery

I have written both a web application and a few dll's that use the webservice
that comes with MSCrm. When I went to deploy it I discovered that I had added
the web references as static and since my client didn't deploy to the same
URL, it didn't work. I managed to figure out the web side by adding an entry
to the web.config file. But my dlls don't typcially use a web.config file -
can I use the same entry for them or do I need some other way for my system
to find these services at the client site?

Thanks!
