Changing Registry Rights

I've got a general question.
Is it possible to change Registry of a registry Path by a procedure call or
something like that in .NET.

Sorry I misstiped myself.
I want to change the acces rights (read, write etc.) for a specific
registrypath like
"\HKLM\Software\Company\development".
My Question is how can I do this using the .Net Framework?.

RegistryKey.SetAccessControl is new in 2.0. For 1.1. you'll have to use
interop (try http://www.pinvoke.net/)...
