Apply a Key??? event to a Command Button

Hi All,

I have written a small program which has command buttons to operate a device
by remote via RS232. It sends a series of commands when a command button is
clicked and held down and stops when the button is released. MouseDown &
MouseUp.

What I would like to do is to add a keyboard key to the button so the user
can use a key instead of the mouse, like the Left or Right arrow keys for
example in a game to move the object left & right.

I can add a keypress event to the MouseDown event for the button but this
only recognises keys being pressed once the button has been clicked with the
mouse. Click any other button and no more keys are recognised. I have tried
creating a keypress event for just the form but this does nothing?

What I need is a KeyDown and KeyUp event to operate in the same manner as
the MouseDown and Mouse up events (8 in all) for the buttons on the form.

All help greatfully acknowledged.
