problem in backup and restore using volume shadow copy SDK

Hi All

I am doing volume shadow copy of files and folders..I am able to make a
backup of the files.During restore I need to use the xml file made during
backup. But my restore is not working...dont know why? :-(

I followed the steps that was explained in MSDN using IVssBackUpComponent
but in vain...

I also tried to change my direction my rewriting the program using
CVssWriter...by which I created my own writer. But when I displyed the list
of writers present in the system...it did not list any writer.

Ignoring the above and going on we initialised and subscribed our writer
But when I call wait() for asynchronous operations..it goes on to wait
infinitely.

I am using microsoft's sample program as a reference for my program.I am
working on XP

If anyone knows how to solve my problem pleeease direct me.

with reagards
