Wondering if anyone can tell me why this error is occurring

Running a web service on 1.1.

Even though I don't recieve any errors in the output of the service, I
see a ThreadAbortException in the ide output window when it's debugging,
"Thread was being aborted" every other time I call the service. As
well, when the output window displays the error, all the other messages
showing which assemblies are being loaded don't appear (but the service
seems to run fine).

When I uncomment calls to a TextWriterTraceListener in the service, I
get an error reporting that the text writer is closed every other time I
run the service.

So the two seem to be related (in addition to another error when yet
more code is uncommented).

The only info I could find related to this error was concerning
Response.Redirect and in relation to certain data providers neither of
which I'm using. I am not creating any threads nor making any
asynchronous calls, and the service doesn't take long to execute.

What thread is being aborted?
