framework 2 vs 1.1

liven that Framework 2 is about 4 times the size of 1.1 is there anything
that documents all the extra functionality? i know we have now got generics
and some other stuff but surely that cant be reponsible for a four fold
increase?

I don't know if there's one resource with this information but you should be
able to find it in chunks. Try searching for "What's new in ..." replacing
the elispsis with ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Windows Forms, Visual Basic, C#, etc.

Look at the .NET 2.0 SDK. If you install this, you will have the MSDN
documentation that includes all of the new information regarding version 2.0
of the .NET Framework. Alternatively, look at http://msdn2.microsoft.com.
