Scroll bar ignore keyboard?

Neo
Is there a way to get the scroll bar to ignore keybord input. I have a
usercontrol that I have put a vertical scroll on, which I am controling
manually (AutoScroll will not work in this case.)

However the scroll bar keeps stealing focus when a key is pressed
preventing me from getting any keyboard messages from then on. Is there
a way to not pass the key board messages down to the scroll bar on the
control or to have the scroll bar ignore keyboard messages?
