Get rid of your XHTML ending tag slashes, use a HTML STRICT DOCTYP

P: n/a
LU
Using VS.Net 03 v.7.1.3 and ASP.NET
I'm geting help with javascript and the person helping me is asking me to "
get rid of your XHTML ending tag slashes, use a HTML STRICT DOCTYPE" or to
use the following "<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0
Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">" then go validate
it at "http://validator.w3.org/". I told him VS.NET does this automatically
and I don't know enough to get this done.

Can someone help me learn about this? Can someone help me change the
setting in VS.NET so this is done automatically?
Thanks,
LU
