Problem with VCExpress & VS2005 Standart edition

When .NET 2.0 get out I ordered VS2005 Standart edition and downloaded all
the express line.
+ the platform SDK.

I had to modify some VS environment setting IN VCExpress so it could find
the .lib files & .h files (in the platform SDK).

Friday I recieved VS2005 standart and installed it.
Sunday night I tried to compile some C utility I had written.
It didn't, with: 'error spawning CL.exe'

I tried VCExpres, it did work.

Then I went in Tool=>Options=>Project & Solutions=>VC++ directories

there isn't much in the directory list.
Now I'm at work and could see I should have many path setup.

mmh.. how do I fixup the path in my installation?
could I reinstall?
any tips?

No promises, but I'd try uninstalling VS Standard and VC++ Express, then
re-install Standard.
