File.copy method fails when copying TIF image to printer que

I have created an application that copies images I select to two
printer que's. The images are either AutoCAD plot files (.PLT) or
scanned images (.TIF). My method works well for the PLT files on my
two printers, however, I have problems when copying TIF images to one
of them.

I do a simply copy of the files like this:
File.Copy (sSourceFilePath, sPlotterQuePath)

When I try to do this on my 2nd printer (which is a HP LaserJet 5000N),
I get several pages of garbage. That is, each page has one line on it
that is strange characters (including hearts, spades, clubs, smileys,
etc). However, when I copy the exact same file to my 1st printer
(which is a Xerox 8825 plotter), the image is printed correctly (so I
know the image is not corrupt).

I am suspicious of my .NET method, because if I manually copy & paste
the file using Windows explorer, it comes out correctly on both
printers.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks!
