Do I try to uninstall NET Framework 1.1 after 2.0 is installed?

1. Do I try to uninstall NET Framework 1.1 after 2.0 is installed?
Am running Windows XP and have the above question?
2. Also after upgrading to Java JRE 1.5, I did uninstall 1.42 from
Add/Remove programs. Thought this makes sense and perhaps not affect
anything.

Comments?

Thanks so much in advance.
Sincerely
Patty

If you are asking if you *can* uninstall v1.1 without affecting v2.0, the
answer is yes as they are separate products. Personally, I'd tend to leave
both versions in place, as you may have software installed that is dependent
on the older version.

Patty,

If you are not using Visual Studio 2003 than you should be able to do that.
Visual Studio 2003 needs the framework Net 1.1.

For that you have to wait on Jon and if he not answer this, reply your own
message with Java in the subject although it is in my opinion not much Net
related.
