Printer spool monitor

P: n/a
Hi all,

I need to monitor printer spool. What I want to do is. When ever user
try to print something from any application , the print job should be
paused in the spool and it should popup a dialog asking for a
authorization code. If the authorization code is valid then the printer
job will be send for printing . If the authorization code is not
correct then the print job will be removed from the queue.

The operating system is Windows 98

I can program in C#, , VB6

I tried WMI but the same code working in XP but not working on a windos
98 box. I have downloaded the WMI core also.

I am looking for another option of creating a hook to the printer
dialog. When ever the printer dialog will popup another dialog will
popup asking for the code. I don't know its possible or not.

Please suggest me...... I have tried a lot without any luck :(
