Async methods in whidbey/2005. BeginMyFunc/EndMyFunc or MyFuncAsync?

I added a webreference in a project and coded towards it. Coming from 2003
I was used to see BeginMyFunction and EndMyFunction, but now these were
gone. Instead there was a callback function MyFunctionAsync to be used
instead.

Well, I coded towards this. Then after doing some work om my webservice I
selected refresh web reference, and suddenly the Async methods were gone,
and I had the Begin/End methods again.

Anyone know what triggers the one or the other to be generated upon
refreshing/adding a web reference? I want to get the MyFunctionAsync
methods back.

I have both Whidbey beta 2 and .Net 2003 on my computer.

-Thomas
