WebService Load Events

Mat
Hi,

I am looking for the equivilent of a Page_Load event in an aspx for an asmx
(webservice).

Is there such a thing? Is it possible to override? I know you can write your
HTTPHandler for asmx files but is there an easier way?

I want to do some customizations / validations to what the webmethod list
page generated by .NET by default

thanks,

mat

Hi,

A new instance of the web service is instantiated when a web method is
called so you can do whatever initialization you need in the web
service constructor. If you need to do initialization at the class
level, just use a static constructor.

Thanks,
