Hi,
This is an interresting question. SOAP is a protocol. An XML
vocabulary, and therefore 'has no single implementation'.
The SOAP protocol is used, among other, for Web Services.
Therefore, I could say; Install IIS, .Net and you have SOAP support in
Web Services.
If you are developing a Server or Client that uses SOAP, it depends on
your development environment:
VB, C++, Delphi, etc:
You can use: The SOAP Toolkit (SDK), Microsoft XML Core Services
(MSXML3/4/5) and i'm sure there are some other toolkits for SOAP
Java:
Xalan, Xerces
..Net 1.x:
ASP.Net WebServices
System.Web.WebServices.Protocols.Soap
..Net 2:
-See .Net 1.x
Windows Communication Foundation (formely know as Indigo)
These where just the first options that jumped into my mind when
writing this.
Hope this helps,
Marvin Smit.
