I get the following error when trying to use a web service with the SOAP
Toolkit:
WSDLReader:Could not find '/definitions' inside the default WSDL namespace
HRESULT=0x80004005: Unspecified error
- WSDLReader:Loading of the WSDL file failed HRESULT=0x80004005:
Unspecified error
- Client:One of the parameters supplied is invalid. HRESULT=0x80070057: The
parameter is incorrect.
The web service is provided with a string and returns and integer. The URL
works fine in Internet Explorer, but the toolkit just generates an error.
My URL looks like this:
http://localhost/intranetapps/getite...Int?string1=LL
Webservice Source Code:
<WebMethod()> _
Public Function SampleInt(ByVal String1 As String) As Integer
Return 1
End Function
VB6 Source Code:
Dim ws As New MSSOAPLib30.SoapClient30
ws.MSSoapInit
"http://localhost/intranetapps/getitembymfgpart.asmx/SampleInt?string1=LL"
Text1.Text = ws.getutc
