New to Webservices: code being ignored, why?

Trying to use a webservice to run a process.

I used .net's canned autogen "Hello World" code
in which I declared a Process and instantiate it and attach an exe to it.

Then When I try to invoke with a client and the process code is ignored,
but not the "return "Hello World" part, it won't even accept a breakpoint
assignment.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just not possible through webservices?
Thanks in advance.
