Returning NULL fields in .NET v1.1

ar
I'm creating an XML web service using C# in .NET v1.1.
Some fields that will be returned by the service contain NULL values. If the
value is Null, I still need to preserve a XML tag for that field. Any ideas
on how to implement it?
Thanks.
