calling web service in vb


I am trying to call a web service through the vb code but when i m getting
a error 403 that is a forbidden access.

how can i fix this problem..thanks a lot

Dim s As New testscservice.Service1 (need to add web ref....)
TextBox1.Text = s.HelloWorld (return web method helloworld)

Hi,

I think you want to add credentials to your WebService proxy. Your
WebService is probably running in a NTLM secured web
server/site/vroot.

There's a "WebServiceProxyInstance.Credentials" property. If you set
that to System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials the call to the
WebService from the client will use the credentials of the logged in
person.

Hi,
