Fred,
We have started to have the same problem - except that it appears to only be
an issue with one of our two 2K3 NLB hosts...which really does not make any
sense, they are virtually identical.
The problem is - exactly as the error message says, it is unable to load the
wsdl file. We were able to diagnose that the wsdl file was unloadable via IE
on the machine at the same time that this error message was shown to the
customers.
Only real problem is that this is (in our case) an error message from the
Microsoft Soap Toolkit 3.0, which just recently went on "extended" support,
aka: they do not care any more about it.
I'm really glad to know that some one else has been having this problem,
although a resolution would be nicer.

I am calling a webservice from an ASP page. It works most fo the time, but sometimes I get this error message:
Client error '80020009'
WSDLReader:Loading of the WSDL file failed HRESULT=0x80070057 - WSDLReader:XML Parser failed at linenumber 0, lineposition 0, reason is: The download of the specified resource has failed. HRESULT=0x1
Does anyone know what it means and how to solve it?
thanks
