Web Services and Internet Filter (iPrism)

Has anyone ever experienced a problem calling a web service which must
pass through Internet Filtering hardware, such as iPrism. I have a
client application, written in C#, that consumes a web service. When
the application attempts to call the web service a time-out exception
is thrown. The client application is on a network where all internet
traffic is routed through an iPrism server.

Here is what I have discovered:
1. Using IE I can access the asmx without issue.
2. Using IE I can succesfully invoke a method of the web service.
However, when the web method is invoked through IE no SOAP message is
sent. Instead the parameters are sent as a query string.
3. Using the client application the SOAP message is sent but is never
received by the web service and the operation times out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Kevin
