Passing Objects through web services

Hi,

We are using classes to send objects across from server to client thru web
server using web services. I have one question though regarding some complex
objects. Assume I have a class like this

Class A
Property Id as string
Prperty State as STATE
Property Country as COUNTRY
End Class

Class STATE
....
End Class

Class Country
...
End Class

Now we are sending the cass A across. The only problem is if I have modified
just A and nothing in STATE or COUNTRY, we are still forced to send the big
class back for updates. Is this the right way to handling complex classes or
IS THERE A BETTER SOLUTION.

We have defined a CARRIER object that is used to carry information across.
This means A will be added to CARRIER (which inherits from CollectionBase)
and send the Carrier across.

Of course, the proxy class changes the properties to fields, but with some
manipulation on client, we can extract and display stuff. Not probs.
