RPC Encoding of XmlAttributs?

I have a c# class that I am exposing using as a webservice. I have used the
[XmlAttribute()] tag on some of my data class members to flag them as
attributes rather than elements.

When I specify document/literal (or let it default to document/literal) the
webservice generates wsdl that correctly identifies those members as
attributes.

When I add the [SoapRpcService()] tag to my webservice to use rpc/encoded,
the wsdl that is generated identifies ALL members including those with the
attribute tags as xml elements.

The exact same source code (other than the SoapRpcService tag) correctly
produces attributes in the wsdl in one case and incorrectly produces elements
in the other.

Is this a known issue or is there some other tag I need to add to get the
members defined as attributes in the wsdl with rpc/encoded?

Thanks,

Eric
