adding a web reference times out.

Can anyone help please -

I have VS2003 , a small web app that must reference a web services. Each
time I add the reference the web references times out. I have looked at
article 815209 which basically states that i must remove network adapter that
are not used . All my network adapter are used.

Brian,

What web service is it trying to connect to exactly? Can you get the url of the web service to come up if you stick it in a web browser.

Hi Calvin.

The web services location the same computer as the web application.

The test web service page works fine , i can test , debug etc all is well .
But the each time I add the reference I get a time out . Seems to be a bugg
in the framework of 1.1 but because i have network adapters then 1 get a time
out?
