Hosting a Web Service

Hi All,

Am new to web service technology. Currently i created a web service at my
home box. Now i want to Host/Publish it to the outside world... so that it is
used by my web applicantion as well as windows client applicantion.

So my question is how to host/publish any web service ?? Any recommendations
on Hosting companies which specialize in hosting web services ??

Any kind of information is really appreciated.
Thanks,

Nitin

Hi Nitin,

you can host your webservices in any Asp.Net hosting companie. When your
clients wants to use your website they have to refer the iste url in which
you are hosting your service.

You can find your hosters in the following link

http://www.asp.net/Hosters/

Cheers,

Jerome. M

Hi Nitin,

If you don't want to use dot net, I recommand linux environment.
Do you know gSOAP? gSOAP is open source(C or C++). and It is working on
Linux system.
Of course, It have compatibility with dot net web services.

In mycase~
I use Linux Hosting Service In south Korea.

It is "http://hosting.cafe24.com (gSOAP Enable)"

$0.5 / 1 Month
HDD 300 MB
TRAFFIC 800 MB/1 DAY

Good Luck~
