Mfc project with Dot Net Compiler

I'm trying to convert an existing VC6.0 application to compile and run with
the latest compiler. One error I get is apparently due to a change in a mfc
method, OnActivateApp. The original version took two parameters, a bool and
an HTASK. The latest version takes a bool and a DWORD.

Can I detect, at compile time, which mfc library is being used so I can
provide the correct parameters. Or is there another way around the problem.
I need to temporiarly have both versions capabile of being compiled.
