MSDN Oct2005 - No Local Help!

MC
Hello all,

My work, a technical institute, has a full MSDN subscription (I think)
and they were able to download and burn ISO's for me containing VS2005
v8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) and MSDN Oct2005. I installed the
full VS, followed by the full MSDN on a fresh *vanilla* install of
Windows XP Pro SP2 with all the XP updates. When I access MSDN,
either through its own shortcut in the start menu or through VS, it
has no filter and no local content, except Help on Help (thank you
very much!) Online content works but it's not as feature rich. For
instance, where's the index?

Is there some trick to getting local content to work? Has anyone else
run into this?

Thanks,
Craig

If you install also SDK, help will be attached and usable locally
However I installed VS after SDK.
